Please note: The trip and waypoint management functions of this product work with nearly all GARMIN GPS units, excluding the GPS100 family and panel mount aviation units. The map download features of this product will work only with the StreetPilot GPS, StreetPilot ColorMap, GPSMAP 295 and eMap units. A blank 8 or 16MB cartridge is needed to upload map data to these compatible units.

The MapSource™ MetroGuide U.S.A. CD-ROM contains the electronic equivalent to paper maps and represents the same information found on MetroGuide cartridges. MetroGuide U.S.A. includes trip and waypoint management functions that allow you to transfer waypoints, routes, and tracks between your PC and nearly all GARMIN GPS units while viewing detailed maps on your PC screen. With a map download-compatible GARMIN GPS, MetroGuide U.S.A. will also allow you to load map detail, addresses, business listings, and points of interest from any region in the continental United States, plus Alaska and Hawaii.

MetroGuide U.S.A. data is easily transferred from a personal computer to the StreetPilot GPS, StreetPilot ColorMap, GPSMAP 295, and eMap units by simply inserting a blank or pre-programmed 8MB or 16MB data cartridge, selecting a desired location, and downloading the data. You'll see details like the locations of restaurants, banks, gas stations, and tourist attractions, plus much more.

And, you can use your GPS to look up street addresses, points of interest and more and navigate to them with the help of on-screen arrows and street-level detail. You'll be able to drive to any city address contained in our huge database using an electronic map that shows street-level detail.
